Two new telehandlers for agriculture: KT144 and KT3610

The range of telehandlers from Kramer-Werke GmbH is being expanded with two models, including 13 models with stacking heights from 4.3 metres to 9.50 metres. The two new models, the KT144, a compact telescopic machine, and the KT3610, a universal machine with a stacking height of 9.50 metres, have, as usual, been designed for maximum durability and versatility.

The KT144 is a powerful compact genius

New now! The ultra-compact KT144 telehandler. With a height of less than 2 meters and a width of about 1.60 meters and an operating weight of about 3,000 kg, the KT144 is the smallest model in the Kramer range of telehandlers. Nevertheless, it has an astonishing capacity: The pallet stacker has a lifting capacity of 1450 kg and a lifting height of around 4.50 metres. Even when handling heavy loads (e.g. silage bales), there is ample provision for a high transfer range. The proven Kramer quick hitch system with mechanical locking is standard on this vehicle. A hydraulic interlock is also available as an option, as are various common quick hitch systems, including the Euro quick hitch carriage. For attachments with additional hydraulic functions, such as a silage bucket, a 3rd control circuit is fitted at the factory. Additionally, the machine is available with two engines.
The base engine is Yanmar 19 kW or 25 hp and complies with the V exhaust emission stage without additional exhaust after-treatment, making it an affordable entry-level option for most applications. Working hydraulics capacity is a maximum of 36.4 litres per minute. For applications with high power requirements, a 33 kW or 45 hp Yanmar engine is available as an option with additional exhaust gas treatment using a combination of catalytic converter and particulate filter.

The maximum hydraulic output is 42 litres per minute, providing faster load cycles and better vehicle performance. An extended range of options is also available for the more powerful engine, including a top speed of 30 km/h and hydraulic hydraulics with a capacity of up to 70 litres per minute. Despite its compact size, the vehicle has a spacious and comfortable interior. Ergonomic carrying handles, together with a low entry height of only 40 centimetres, make it easy to get in and out of the vehicle. The operator’s seat and steering wheel can be individually adjusted to suit the operator. Panoramic glazing and narrow cab spacers provide optimum visibility. For working in the dark, various lighting packages turn night into day. The characteristic Kramer operating concept, with divided function groups and colour-coded switches, is also a feature of the KT144, as is the joystick with direction selection, telescopic slide lever and additional control of the 3rd control circuit. The KT144 is also equipped as standard with an electronic parking brake with hill-hold function. This means that as soon as the machine comes to a stop, the parking brake is automatically applied. When the drive pedal is depressed, the brake is automatically released, which means that, for example, the machine does not need to be held with the foot brake when it is inactive on a hill. As well as all-wheel steering, both front and crab steering are optionally available. If required, the machine can be fitted with a slow-speed regulator and manual throttle and up to four different operating modes.

KT3610 – with compact dimensions higher and higher

With the KT3610, Kramer achieves new lifting heights and transmission ranges with new dimensions, while the three-part boom provides maximum compactness. The vehicle has a single length (without bucket) of 5.03 metres and a width of 2.28 metres. As a result, this vehicle belongs to the class of the “ideal all-rounder” for a variety of applications in the Kramer telehandler range, which also includes the successful KT407. With an operating weight of 8,200 kg (depending on options) and compact dimensions, the KT3610 achieves a maximum stacking height of 9.50 metres and a maximum payload of 3,600 kg. Two cab variants are also available for the KT3610 to perfectly adapt the machine to individual application proportions.

The vehicle with the standard cab is ideal for low stables and transitions. The vehicle with standard 24-inch tyres has an overall height of just 2.31 metres, which is a distinctive feature for this size class. If maximum vehicle height is not a limiting factor, the option is available to raise the cab by 18 cm for optimum all-round visibility, especially on the right-hand side.

Even the KT3610 is equipped with familiar features: Smart Handling, intelligent overload protection, automatic bucket return and telematics solutions – EquipCare. In addition, as with the KT407, you can use the same set of options. All in all, the new model impresses with its robustness and reliability, as well as its advantages in terms of lift height and transmission range. Above all, it is an advantageous combination when moving bales – a high lifting height in confined spaces is required.
